SERVICE AREAS · GREATER SACRAMENTO
Kireon rents and sells scaffold equipment across Greater Sacramento. Pickup rates are the same in every city; delivery-included prices cover round-trip delivery within Sacramento. What changes from city to city is who you ask before a scaffold goes on a sidewalk or street.
CITY GUIDES
Scaffolding kept on private property stays outside the public right-of-way. If it will stand on a sidewalk, street or parkway, these are the city rules we found on official city pages.
| City | Sidewalk or street use | Who to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Sacramento | Street Use encroachment permit; the city lists scaffolding by name. | City of Sacramento Public Works, Development Engineering |
| Elk Grove | Encroachment permit for any work affecting the public right-of-way; scaffolding not named, ask Public Works. | City of Elk Grove Public Works |
| Roseville | Encroachment permit to stage construction in the public right-of-way. | City of Roseville Development Services, Engineering - Land Development |
| Folsom | Encroachment permit to place anything on a sidewalk, street or parkway. | City of Folsom Community Development, Development Engineering |
| Citrus Heights | Encroachment permit for any work in or affecting streets and sidewalks. Allow at least 10 days for review. | City of Citrus Heights General Services Department, Public Works and Engineering |
