To rent scaffolding from Kireon you need a valid government-issued ID, electronic payment and a signed rental agreement that states the replacement cost of the equipment. There is no deposit. Kireon confirms the equipment and dates in writing, you pick the equipment up or have it delivered by appointment, and you return it as the agreement says.

What do you need to rent scaffolding from Kireon?
You need a government-issued ID, electronic payment and a signed rental agreement. There is no deposit. The table sums up the requirements from the rental terms.
| Requirement | What it means |
|---|---|
| Deposit | None |
| ID | Valid government-issued ID |
| Payment | Electronic payment |
| Rental agreement | Signed before the rental, states the replacement cost of the equipment |
| Confirmation | Equipment and dates confirmed by Kireon in writing |
| Your details | Accurate job address and contact information |
The order is simple. You request a quote, Kireon confirms the equipment and dates in writing, you sign the agreement and pay, then you pick the equipment up or it is delivered. At the end you return it as the agreement says. The website itself does not create a reservation or a rental contract.
Is there a deposit to rent scaffolding?
No. Kireon does not take a deposit. Instead, you sign a rental agreement that states the replacement cost of the equipment. If equipment comes back damaged or does not come back at all, charges follow the signed agreement, so read the replacement cost before you sign. It tells you what you are responsible for while the scaffold is at your site.
What does the rental agreement cover?
The final written quote, the equipment list, the pickup or delivery paperwork and the signed rental agreement control the rental. Website pages, this one included, are only summaries. Before you sign, check these lines:
- the equipment list, part by part
- the rental dates and the return time
- pickup or delivery, and the job address
- the replacement cost of the equipment
- what happens if equipment comes back late, damaged, dirty or missing
If any term is unclear, ask before you accept the equipment. Call or text (916) 450-3528.
Do you need insurance to rent scaffolding?
Insurance is not on Kireon's list of rental requirements. You are still responsible for the equipment from the start of the rental to its return, including security and jobsite conditions. Ask your own insurer whether rented equipment at your home is covered. If you hire someone to do the work, ask about their coverage and check their license with the CSLB license lookup before you sign with them.
Pickup or delivery: how does it work?
You choose. The 15 ft and 18 ft rolling towers rent at the same rates, in two versions:
| Rental | Customer pickup | Delivery included |
|---|---|---|
| 1 day | $99 | $149 |
| 3 days | $249 | $329 |
| 1 week | $399 | $499 |
Delivery-included prices cover round-trip delivery and pickup within Sacramento, with no additional delivery fees. Outside Sacramento, confirm delivery when you request a quote. Longer rentals and frame scaffold are by quote. Pickups and returns are by appointment, early mornings and evenings. The Sacramento scaffold rental cost guide breaks the rates down per day.
What should you check at pickup or delivery?
Count the parts against the equipment list and look for damage before the equipment leaves the yard, or before the driver leaves your site. Frames, braces, platform, casters and pins should all be there, and the locks should hold. If something is missing or damaged, point it out and have it noted on the pickup or delivery paperwork. That record matters at return. The rolling scaffold inspection checklist has the full list for pickup, each morning and before you climb.
Does Kireon set up the scaffold?
No. Kireon rents and sells scaffold equipment only. Kireon does not erect, assemble, dismantle, engineer, inspect or supervise scaffolding. You or the crew you hire put it together and take it down, following the manufacturer's instructions.
The renter is also responsible for choosing the right equipment and using it lawfully. Kireon rents its rolling towers for firm, flat and level surfaces only. Do not use them on slopes, stairs, uneven ground or soft soil. Cal/OSHA Title 8, Section 1646, says the casters of a rolling scaffold must stay locked while anyone climbs or works on it, and the base must be at least 1/3 of the height unless the scaffold is guyed or tied. These rules bind employers, but they are a sound baseline for homeowners too. For the full rule set, see the Cal/OSHA scaffold rules guide.
Can you leave scaffolding up overnight?
Yes. A 3-day or weekly rental stays at your site between work days, but security is on you. The rental terms make the renter responsible for security, and stolen equipment may be charged under the signed agreement. A few habits help:
- Lock every caster at the end of the day so the tower cannot roll.
- Keep the tower in a garage, backyard or behind a gate when the job allows it.
- Chain the frame to something fixed if it has to stay in view of the street.
- Make it hard to climb when no one is working, so kids and visitors stay off it.
How do you extend a rental?
Contact Kireon before the return date. Extensions need advance contact, payment and written confirmation, and they depend on availability. If you think the job may run long, say so in the quote request. A week is the longest listed rate, and anything longer is by quote.
How do you return rented scaffolding?
Return the equipment as the signed agreement states, at the time you agreed, by appointment. Bring every part on the equipment list. With a delivery-included rental within Sacramento, Kireon picks the equipment up, so have the scaffold taken down and all parts together when the driver arrives.
Clean it before it goes back. Late, missing, damaged, excessively dirty or stolen equipment may result in charges under the signed agreement. Scrape off wet stucco, paint and mud the day you finish, before it hardens on the frames and deck.
Can you buy a scaffold instead of renting?
Yes. Kireon sells a new 15 ft tower for $1,699 plus tax. It is currently sold out and available to order on request. See scaffold for sale, or the rent vs buy guide if you are not sure which makes sense.
When you are ready, request a quote with the equipment, your dates, the job address and whether you want pickup or delivery.
Frequently asked questions
What ID do I need to rent scaffolding?
Kireon asks for a valid government-issued ID, plus electronic payment and a signed rental agreement. No deposit is required.
How do I pay for a scaffold rental?
Kireon takes electronic payment. The price and the equipment list are confirmed in a written quote before the rental.
Does a quote request reserve the scaffold?
No. Equipment and dates are reserved only once Kireon confirms them in writing. The website does not create a reservation or a rental contract.
Is delivery included in the price?
It can be. Each tower rate comes in two versions: customer pickup ($99, $249 or $399) or delivery included ($149, $329 or $499), which covers round-trip delivery and pickup within Sacramento.
Do you deliver outside Sacramento?
Confirm delivery when you request a quote. Delivery-included prices cover Sacramento only.
When can I pick up or return equipment?
Pickups and returns are by appointment, early mornings and evenings.
What happens if I return the scaffold late?
Late equipment may result in charges under the signed rental agreement. To avoid that, ask for an extension before the return date. Extensions need payment and written confirmation and depend on availability.
What if a part breaks during my rental?
Stop using the scaffold, keep people off it and call or text Kireon. Do not repair or modify rental parts yourself. Damage is handled under the signed rental agreement.
Can I rent scaffolding for longer than a week?
Yes, by quote. The listed tower rates are 1 day, 3 days and 1 week.
Can I use a rolling tower on grass or a slope?
No. Kireon rents its rolling towers for firm, flat and level surfaces only, not slopes, stairs, uneven ground or soft soil.
